ZTE unveils advanced all-optical solutions to enhance FTTx innovations at ANGA COM 2024

As the global market leader in 10G PON technology, ZTE introduced its innovative Combo PON solution at ANGA COM 2024. This solution seamlessly adapts to 50G PON, 10G PON, and GPON, facilitating the evolution of these critical PON technologies. By utilizing a common Optical Distribution Network (ODN) and platform, it addresses challenges such as high construction costs, extensive space requirements in central offices, complex fiber cabling, and intricate operations and maintenance during technology upgrades.

In the context of ODN deployment in Europe, ZTE has rolled out its Light ODN solution at ANGA COM 2024. This innovative solution features pre-termination, no-splicing, plug-and-play capabilities, and enhanced visibility. By adopting this approach, ZTE not only makes the ODN network more visible and manageable but also significantly reduces operational expenses.

To enhance Wi-Fi signal coverage in residential settings, ZTE showcased its connected home solutions at ANGA COM 2024. These solutions include the XGS-PON Optical Network Terminal (ONT), Wi-Fi 7, Mesh Wi-Fi & FTTR, and the Smart Cloud Platform (SCP) management platform.

For metropolitan and Data Center Interconnect (DCI) applications, ZTE introduced the 800G OTN BOX at ANGA COM 2024. This compact solution, equipped with 800G pluggable modules, supports up to 12.8T capacity per subrack and reduces space requirements by 73% due to its photoelectric integration. Transitioning from a traditional Element Management System (EMS) to a Web-based Graphical User Interface (WebGUI), the box enhances both user interface and management capabilities. Moreover, its power efficiency is optimized to 0.1W per Gbit. The versatile 1.2U OTN BOX is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations, supporting multi-service access.

ZTE also presented its high-density, low-carbon switch boxes at ANGA COM 2024, boasting a remarkable 4.8T switching capacity within a compact 1U form factor. These switches support various port types suitable for multiple networking scenarios and feature an advanced structural design that enhances heat dissipation by 30%, ensuring sustained performance. Remarkably, they maintain an impressively low energy consumption rate of 0.1W/Gbit.

In the realm of content delivery, ZTE offers Set Top Boxes (STBs) and device solution based on RDK. These offerings expand video content and ecosystem services through strategic partnerships with major content providers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+.
