Preparing to Embrace the 5G Era

ZTE is a major contributor and participant in global 5G standard research activities. As a core member of the promotion group of IMT-2020 (5G) in China, ZTE takes the lead in over 30% of 5G topic research tasks, such as researches on IEEE-oriented 5G technologies, researches on the 5G network architecture, and researches on physical-layer breakthrough 5G technologies.

In the key 5G technology research field, ZTE makes comprehensive arrangement and puts emphasis on the core technologies. The key 5G technology research includes network infrastructure design, multi-antenna technology, high frequency communications, IOT integration, and new services such as D2D, M2X, URC etc. We have also developed distinct technology in massive MIMO, Virtual Cell, SLA soft link and MUSA multiple access.

ZTE will continue to be committed to the researches on 5G technologies and 5G product developments, and is going to launch a series of Pre5G prototype in 2015 and Pre5G products in 2016 to 2018.

The future 5G is an open ecosystem. ZTE is closely cooperating with multiple parties in the industry to jointly strive for diversified experience in the future 5G.
