28 April 2019, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today announced that ZTE and Zhejiang Branch of China Telecom have launched a 5G site to implement 5G intelligent water management solution in Xiajiang Village, which is near Qiandao Lake. This solution provides an intelligent management and three-dimensional monitoring of Xiajiang Village’s water.
By means of China Telecom’s 5G network with high speed, low latency and massive connection, ZTE's intelligent water management solution realizes UAV inspection, high-definition real-time video monitoring, VR remote control, as well as other monitoring and management methods.
This solution has integrated AI, big data and Internet of Things platform, achieving the goal of scientific management of Xiajiang village water.
In the future, ZTE and China Telecom will keep promoting the development and deployment of 5G applications, strengthening cooperation in environmental governance, intelligent security, intelligent education and other industries, so as to facilitate the intelligent transformation and upgrade of traditional industries.
