ZTE actively responds to global initiatives for green and low-carbon development. In May 2023, the company announced its engagement in the SBTi, becoming the first large telecom equipment company in China to make such a commitment. Implementing the national carbon-neutral strategy in the global 5G smart factory in Nanjing Binjiang, ZTE is committed to building lean, automated, flexible, intelligent, fewer man-powered, and unmanned intelligent manufacturing factories by applying 5G to create an example of energy saving and emission reduction for advanced manufacturing.

Green Procurement

Reduce the overall emission of 1.07 million tons of raw materials through measures such as weight reduction, recycling, and low-carbon material selection priority.

Green Manufacturing

Promote the construction of smart factories in multiple places. Binjiang Smart Factory Power consumption of manufacturing a single product is reduced by 9.3% (7.1 degree).

ZTE works with more than 145 environmental service providers in sixty countries to promote the utilization of environment-friendly products, and tap the inherent value of products. The cycle utilization reaches 90%.

Green Logistics

Through packaging weight reduction and low-carbon transport mode preference, air transport is less than 60%, and the overall product transport is reduced by 64000 tons.
