The conference has involved decision makers, thought leaders, corporate executives, and investors in the optical fiber field, as well as operators and equipment vendors worldwide, to share their experience and insights in FTTH network construction, for the purpose of jointly exploring FTTH development roadmaps and opportunities in the 5G era. 

At the online conference, ZTE has showcased its end-to-end FTTH products and solutions. For instance, ZTE's fully distributed optical flagship TITAN platform, based on the high-end router architecture, has integrated access, transmission, routing and IT infrastructure, featuring the most powerful capacity and integration in the industry. The first-generation platform can simultaneously support GPON, 10G PON and 50G PON.

Moreover, ZTE's Combo PON solution supports smooth upgrade at high price-performance ratio and FTTH/O+4G/5G fixed/mobile convergence access. Also, the industry's first OLT built-in blade can accelerate both home broadband and 5G services. 

To date, ZTE's TITAN has been commercially deployed on a large scale in Brazil, Japan, Italy and China. The company’s serialized CPEs and mesh APs have assisted operators in accelerating the construction of new gigabit home networks, laying solid foundation for the future booming of intelligent home services. Meanwhile, ZTE has focused on high-value scenario innovation to explore the future application scenarios of PON. In collaboration with China Unicom, ZTE has implemented the industry's first application of 5G remote driving by OLT embedded MEC, and won the Best Innovation Award at the 2020 World Broadband Forum and the New Service Innovation Award at LAYER123. 

Mr. Shi Wenjun, Marketing Director of Fixed Network product at ZTE, has also been invited to deliver a keynote speech titled “Enhanced optical access network releases the value of the fixed network ”.  Mr. Shi believes that as the best transmission media, optical fibers, along with P2MP architecture, have been the basis for the success of the PON technology in the past 10 years. He also expects that global broadband fiber-optic will continue to grow rapidly. PON will be further strengthened to achieve stronger calculation power, lower latency, intelligence and flexibility. In the ToHome scenario, the optical fiber will be further extended to the networking inside the home. In the ToB and 5G coverage scenarios, PON will further help operators to expand more values.
