ZTE Attends CommunicAsia2011 Showcasing its Latest Technologies and Solutions for the 10th Consecutive Year

21 June 2011, Shenzhen – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that ZTE will showcase its lineup of latest technologies and solutions for terminals, pipelines and cloud computing at CommunicAsia2011. This year will mark ZTE’s 10th consecutive year as China’s largest listed company in the communications equipment manufacturing industry attending CommunicAsia. The exhibition is Asia’s most important IT & communications show - set to take place 21-24 June at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore.  

 

The exhibition area of terminal products in ZTE’s booth will display a range of terminal products to consumers, including smart products for individuals, homes and offices, such as smartphones Skate 4.3, Libra, Joe, U700, Style q, R750, tablet PCs Light tab+, and Internet boxes. Meanwhile, ZTE will also showcase the “Uni RAN+ Uni Backhaul + Uni NGA + Uni Core + Anyservice” integrated solution in its VIP exhibition area.

 

ZTE places special emphasis on the Asian market, maintaining extensive cooperation with operators in various countries throughout Asia. In March this year, ZTE and Malaysia’s mobile operator U Mobile announced an initiative to build the HSPA+/LTE network in major Malaysian cities, of which the signing ceremony was attended by Malaysian Information, Communications, and Culture Minister Dato’ Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim, and the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Chai Xi. In April, Telenor chose ZTE to deploy 5000 HSPA+/LTE stations in Malaysia, with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak attending the agreement-signing ceremony. In addition, last month ZTE and Sri Lanka’s Mobitel launched South Asia’s first LTE/EPC network.
