7 March 2012, Shenzhen, China – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today released a new U-government solution at the sixth Annual e-Gov Africa Forum 2012 in Gaborone, Botswana.
The U-government solution is easily adaptable to different systems in a variety of environments and is based on the five-stage ZTE E-Government Solution Construction Model (ZESCM). ZTE will use the five-stage model to produce customized information and communications infrastructure and office automation. This will assist governments with creating high-speed, reliable information interactive systems that enhance informatization levels, improve government efficiency and realize sustainable development.
“Future government and enterprise networks will be an amalgamation of CT, IT, the-Internet-of-things, and other platforms,” said ZTE Senior Vice President Wang Jiaran. “It is important for us to assist with the development of those networks in the Middle East and Africa.”
In the past few years, ZTE has doubled its sales revenue year-on year-in the government and enterprise network market, faster than any other company in the same time period. ZTE’s products and solutions for government have been deployed in more than 40 countries, including China, Chile, Egypt, Ghana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria and Romania.
