15 July 2015, Shanghai – ZTE, a leading global mobile device maker, today unveiled the ZTE Blade D6 and its first ever smart home gateway, the ZTE SmartHome, at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015. The two devices are on display at ZTE’s stand, located at Booth 20 – Hall 5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, alongside a range of other innovative ZTE smart devices.

ZTE SmartHome
The ZTE SmartHome enables users to communicate with everyday home devices from light switches to baby monitors via wireless protocol, ZigBee, and as well as 4G LTE connections. A mobile application for smartphones and tablets allows quick and easy control over a broad range of smart home devices, covering home management, home security, and health and safety.
ZTE Blade D6
Weighing just 120g and at 6.95mm thin, the 5-inch high-definition ZTE Blade D6 squeezes premium performance into a slim and lightweight high-grade 6013 aluminum alloy body. The Blade D6 runs off a qual-core 1.3GHz chipset and 2GB of RAM, and comes out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop with the latest rendition of ZTE’s customizable user interface – MiFavor 3.2.
Designed with selfie lovers in mind, the Blade D6 sports an 88-degree wide-angle 5 megapixel front facing camera, and its ultra-high-definition 13 megapixel rear camera comes with True Tone flash. A number of pre-installed photography features, such as beautification options, a smile shutter function, high definition continuous shooting and auto panorama, add to the device’s premium camera experience.
A unique feature to the ZTE Blade D6 is its ‘3 in 2’ innovative tray holder that can accommodate a micro SIM, as well as either an additional nano SIM or a micro SD card, all in the same tray holder.
Over the next few months, the Blade D6 will be made available in four color variants – pink, gold, gray and silver, across markets such as Australia, Russia and Japan.
