ZTE launches new-generation 50G PON integrated optical business gateway and lightweight outdoor PON OLT

Paris, France, 8 October 2024 - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, has unveiled two new optical access products: the 50G PON integrated optical business gateway ZXA10 P910 and the lightweight outdoor PON OLT product ZXA10 C604Z. These innovative products are designed to enable enterprise networks to achieve all-optical ultra-high bandwidth access, assisting operators in further enhancing the coverage capability of all-optical access networks.

The new-generation 50G PON integrated optical business gateway, ZXA10 P910, combines five functions - OLT, switch, router, access controller (AC), and firewall - into a single product. This integration simplifies network architecture and offers full access from a single point, comprehensive coverage over a single fiber, and high concurrency on a single network. It expands fiber-to-the-enterprise scenarios from a single link to a comprehensive network, addressing the integrated access needs of various scenarios such as hotels, commercial buildings, campuses, and hospitals.

The ZXA10 P910 supports 50G PON uplink and provides 10G PON access downlink, accommodating high split ratios and enabling enterprises to achieve 10Gbps all-optical integrated access. It meets ultra-high bandwidth and low latency requirements for business applications, including 8K video, Cloud VR, AR training, cloud NAS, and AOI, delivering an exceptional business experience for users. Together with the ZXA10 P610, released in 2022, the ZXA10 P910 forms a series of all-optical business gateways that flexibly meet users' deployment requirements across various technologies, bandwidths, and scenarios.

The ZXA10 C604Z is a lightweight outdoor PON OLT product designed to support various installation methods, including cable-hanging, pole, or wall mounting. Its lightweight design facilitates easy installation and maintenance by a single person on-site, making it ideal for network deployments in space-constrained areas, suburban or rural locations with sparse coverage, and harsh environments.

The product offers flexible power supply options through coaxial, AC, or DC methods and enables fiber-optic transformation of HFC networks, addressing the needs of multiple system operators (MSOs) transitioning to FTTH. It features four Any-PON interfaces, allowing flexible access to different ONUs such as GPON and 10G PON. This design supports on-demand deployment and flexible evolution.
