Whistleblowing Guide

The whisleblowing scope includes issue related to current or former employees of ZTE Corporation and its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as the Company), and partners of ZTE including suppliers, channels, subcontractors and customers, that violates laws or regulations of the Company and cause loss or potential risk to the Company, i.e. malpractices, embezzlement, corruption, and infringement on the Company's commercial secrets.

To encourage real-name whistleblowing, the Company handles real-name whistleblowing with the highest priority, and awards the real-name whistleblower whose case meets specfic criteria up to five million RMB. Anyone who can identify himself after whistleblowing can also be rewarded. The Company has rigorous measures to protect confidential information obtained in process of clue registration, investigation, investigation report and award.

The Company severely punishes any forms of retaliation against whistleblowers, witnesses, or investigators. Whistleblowers shall be responsible for the authenticity of reported information.
