1 April 2019, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today announced that Xu Ziyang, President of ZTE Corporation, has been elected as the new chairman of China International Chamber of Commerce (ICC China) Commission on Intellectual Property at its 2019 semi-annual meeting held in Shenzhen, China.

The meeting has reviewed and approved the latest working procedures as well as the recent work report of Commission on Intellectual Property, and has elected the chairman, executive chairman and vice chairman of the Commission.

Xu Ziyang, President of ZTE Corporation, is elected as the Chairman of the committee. Hu Yi, Chief Intellectual Property Officer of ZTE Corporation, is elected as the Executive Chairman of the Commission.

Moving forward, ICC China Commission on Intellectual Property will coordinate with ICC Commission on Intellectual Property to recommend experts to participate in intellectual property rule-making, and provide government departments with professional advice for policy-making. In addition, the Commission will organize various activities on a regular basis, and involve Chinese enterprises and intellectual property institutions as well as international organizations to conduct in-depth dialogue and cooperation, thereby serving national interests and corporate demands in a better manner.
