ZTE Corporation (Shenzhen: 000063, Hong Kong: 0763), China´s largest listed telecommunications manufacturer and leading wireless solutions provider today held a grand inauguration ceremony for the Warsaw leg of its pan-European roadshow.

The ceremony was held at Europe´s renowned Marriot Hotel, attracting over 100 important industry officials, carriers and reporters. Mr Grzegorz Pachniewski, chairman of Poland Telecommunications Association, Mr PanTadeusz Kubiak, chairman of PTC ERA and Mr Yuan Guisen, China´s ambassador to Poland attended the great event, and experienced first-hand ZTE´s advanced wireless technology and solutions for the 3G era, including the Corporation´s industry-leading UMTS V3 system, next generation networks and a wide range of 3G services.

"Our strategy in Europe is totally focused on localization: we will work more closely with our local partners, recruit more local employees and set up regional centres for maintenance and R&D. " said Mr. Guo Jun, general manager of ZTE Eastern Europe. "To date, there are over 60 employees in Poland representative office, of which 30-plus are locals."

Mr Grzegorz Pachniewski extended warm welcome to ZTE´s arrival to Poland. "We are confident of ZTE´s formidable R&D capability and rapid global expansion, and expect that ZTE would establish deep-rooted partnerships with Poland operators, thereby enhancing the development of Poland telecommunications."
