All-IP and Digital Trunking technologies provide additional value for operators
ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, will showcase its latest range of 3G solutions and services at the forthcoming INDONESIA CDMA Exhibition, due to take place in Jakarta Convention Centre, 23rd - 27th August. At the show, ZTE will highlight the commercial advantages of its All-IP CDMA network technology and its CDMA-based GoTa Digital Trunking architecture.
In April this year, ZTE became the first telecoms equipment provider with the capability to successfully deploy All-IP CDMA2000 solutions based on the IOS V5.0 standard for commercial use worldwide. ZTE digital trunking system GoTa (Global open Trunking architecture) was previously introduced as a means to offer enhanced push-to-talk services based on CDMA2000 technology.
"As the first Chinese-developed digital trunking system and one of the first patented telecoms technologies to be licensed to major international telecoms providers outside China, ZTE CDMA-based GoTa system will be a highlight of the show," said Mr. Cui Yi, President of ZTE Asia Pacific. "Together with our All-IP technology, it offers operators a clear path to superior network infrasturcture and to new, revenue-enhancing services upon which operators in the modern telecoms environment increasingly depend."
ZTE combined All-IP CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev A solution carriers several advantages for operators including vocoder savings, large savings on transmission costs, better QoS (Quality of Service) and improved voice definition.
During the exhibition, ZTE will demonstrate cutting-edge CDMA 3G technologies and solutions, including a 3GCN CDMA2000 ALL-IP Core Network Solution, an ALL-IP base station controller (BSCB), a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO mobile communications system and its GoTa digital trunking system. In addition to telecoms infrastructure, ZTE will also showcase CDMA mobile phones and GoTa terminals. ZTE unique All-IP CDMA2000 and GoTa technologies are currently deployed in nearly 60 countries by over 100 operators with a global capacity of more than 30 million lines.
ZTE CDMA products were introduced to Indonesia in 2004, since which time ZTE has established itself as a leading player in the local market. In April this year, ZTE also established a training center in Bandung in partnership with nationally renowned telecoms educational institution, STT-TELKOM in order to make telecoms training accessible to students and customers across the country.
