ZTE executive director and president, Shi Lirong, placed 18th in the list of most powerful executives in the global telecoms industry
21 October 2013, Shenzhen, China – Shi Lirong, executive director and president, ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, is one of the most powerful executives in the global telecoms industry according to influential trade publication Global Telecoms Business.
The Global Telecoms Business Power 100 is an annual list announcing the top 100 executives helping to shape the world’s ICT landscape. Shi Lirong has been a long standing participant in the list, and this year has achieved his highest ever position – number 18. He is one of just four senior Chinese executives to be listed in the top twenty,, including China Mobile Li Yue.
Alan Burkitt-Gray, the editor of Global Telecoms Business, a leading telecommunications industry publication with a worldwide readership, together with a panel of industry experts, selects the list from a huge number of senior executives from service providers, technology vendors and regulatory communities.
