Dusseldorf, June 9, 2015 - ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet , will showcase its innovative broadband access solutions for the first time at ANGA COM, Cologne.
Solutions including high-availability and low power consumption switches, digital subscriber line access multiplexers (DSLAMs), gigabit passive optical networks (GPONs) and customer premises equipment (CPE) will be presented at the booth of ZTE’s distribution partner ALLNET GmbH (10.1 / P25).
ANGA COM 2015 is Europe's leading trade event for broadband, cable and satellite. ZTE’s presence at the event highlights the company’s aim to grow its enterprise business in Germany, following the success in the region of its carrier business and sale of mobile devices. The commercial entry into this market is part of ZTE’s mobile information and communication technology (M-ICT) strategy, featuring numerous industry solutions in the fields of transport, energy, financial services and government.
"Our products enable large and medium-sized companies to quickly build a highly available, secure and easy to maintain network infrastructure – qualities that we feel are well-suited to the German and European markets," says Li Jun, Managing Director of ZTE Germany. “In order to best reach these new customers, ZTE will take advantage of the channel and experienced partners like ALLNET that have local service capacity and a strong customer support.”
ZTE and ALLNET - who has ZTE’s full range of switches, routers, GPON and DSLAMs in its portfolio - have already agreed upon a range of activities to ensure this success, including a joint reseller roadshow later in 2015 and the establishment of a specialised trade program in support of enterprise resellers. "We want to grow together quickly in this market and offer our customers an end-to-end package from a single source," says Wolfgang Marcus Bauer, Managing Director of ALLNET GmbH.
Among the products that will be shown in Cologne are the eco-friendly and energy-saving infrastructure components such as the ZTE VDSL2 CPE family, ZTE GPON, ZTE’s G.Vector products and a range of enterprise switches for different company sizes and usage scenarios. An example of the solutions on show is the flagship device of the BigMatrix 9900 series data center switches, with a switching capacity of 84.4 Tbps that can be easily extended to 204.8 Tbps. It supports up to 192 wirespeed 100GE interfaces, 576 wirespeed 40GE interfaces, 768 10 Gigabit interfaces and is offering the highest density in the industry.
