Philtower, MIDC and ZTE sign an MoU at MWC Barcelona 2025

Barcelona, Spain, 17 March 2025 – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, and Phil-tower Consortium Inc. and Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation, an independent tower company (ITC) in the Philippines, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at MWC Barcelona 2025 in Spain. This agreement marks a significant step toward enhancing the country's telecommunications infrastructure.

Under the MoU, ZTE, Philtower, and MIDC will explore the feasibility of supplying Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment under a neutral host model. This collaboration aims to accelerate the expansion of telecommunications networks in the Philippines, driving the adoption of 5G and next-generation mobile technologies while delivering enhanced connectivity and network quality to local users. All parties have obtained the necessary approvals and authorizations to proceed with this agreement.
