As a global leader in intelligent manufacturing solutions for automotive equipment, MINO serves many of the world's top automotive manufacturers. By leveraging the 5G-native smart manufacturing solution provided by China Mobile and ZTE, MINO has achieved breakthroughs in automotive manufacturing.

The pioneering approach integrates 5G technology directly into manufacturing equipment, dramatically accelerating digital transformation with deployment time reduced from weeks to just one hour. The solution enables flexible production with up to seven vehicle models on a single line, increases annual capacity by 10,000 vehicles, and reduces integration time by 30%. Originally developed for automotive manufacturing, it has successfully expanded to aerospace, establishing a new benchmark for smart manufacturing transformation across discrete industries.

"Building 5G ENS for SMEs with an Example of Benxi Tool to Create More Enterprise Value" joint developed by China Mobile, Benxi Tool, and ZTE, honored with "Market Development & Business Value Award"

China Mobile Liaoning has collaborated with Benxi Tool and ZTE to implement innovative 5G smart manufacturing practices. The project established a dual-band 5G-Advanced(5G-A) (2.6GHz and 4.9GHz) private network which is tailored for SMEs at its factory, leveraging 5G-A industrial base stations and primary-backup dual-link UPF. Thus, it achieved deterministic network and efficient local data offloading, providing robust network support for digital-intelligent applications. Simultaneously, based on 5G-A and ZTE Digital Nebula，multiple innovative applications were deployed, including an automated intra-factory logistics system composed of 5G-enabled smart diversified robots developed by ZTE(pallet jacks, forklifts, and backpack-type and roller-type AGVs), a 5G+AI intelligent production control system integrating PLC data acquisition with IoT platforms and workshop production dashboards, and a 5G+AI-powered high-precision gear milling visual inspection system.

Through these implementations, Benxi Tool has achieved remarkable improvements: 50% reduction in material waiting time, over 90% decrease in defect rates, 20% shorter delivery cycles, 1.5-fold production capacity increase. The Benxi Tool Smart Factory thoroughly empowers digital-intelligent transformation for small or medium-size enterprises (SMEs) as a beacon, prominently acknowledged of the first national 5G Factory in Liaoning Province, and comprehensively promote 5G-enabled development of transformative productive forces.

Dr. Zhao Xiaowu of ZTE, rewarded with "Honorary Award"

The accolade recognizes Dr. Zhao Xiaowu's outstanding contributions to the 5G Enterprise Network Solution (5G-ENS) field within GTI. As one of 5G-ENS Co-Coordinators, Dr. Zhao has been committed to driving and contributing ZTE's advanced technologies, products, and solutions to the industry through GTI initiatives, workshop presentations, white papers, and benchmark case studies,etc. and to providing incisive insights for the development of the 5G ENS.
