As of the beginning of Year 2005, ZTE Corporation has been showing itself up frequently at telecom exhibitions around the world. After ZTE dropped its curtains one after another at Cairo ICT 2005, India Supercomm 2005 and 3GSM World Congress in Cannes France, Telexpo 2005 coming soon in Brazil will see ZTE Corporation again on Mach 1-4.

Telexpo 2005, the 15th edition of its type, is an event exclusively focused on generation of businesses and visited by executive audiences looking for state-of-the-art solutions.

At this exhibition, ZTE will showcase a wide range of solutions covering CDMA-EVDO @Wireless, 3GSM Mobile Communications Solutions @Wireless, PCS - Personal Communication System @Wireless, Network Total Solution Originated from SS @Fixed, Broadband Network and Application Solutions @Fixed, Converged Optical Transport Networks @Fixed, Tel-Network Support System and ZTE Mobile Phones.

Brazil, the largest country in South America, is also the largest market of ZTE in Latin America. ZTE has already constructed a CDMA20001X wireless local network for TMAIS and has supplied handsets worth USD 100 million to the country´s CDMA operator VIVO.

ZTE´s recorded contract sales of RMB 34 billion from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2004 represents a 34.96% increase as compared with the corresponding period in 2003. Of such contract sales, RMB 13.6 billion (approximately US$ 1,644 million) was attributable to its international sales. In the past years, with an accurate and in-depth penetration into international market, ZTE has introduced multi-level product systems to meet the individual requirements of various customers by leveraging its diversified products and customized market strategies.
