ZTE Corporation today announced that East Telecom, the operator from Uzbekistan, has selected ZTE to deploy a national IP backbone network.
Under the contract, ZTE will supply 31 routers to construct the national IP backbone network, covering more than 13 cities including the capital of Tashkent. It is another big breakthrough achieved by ZTE in the international markets after winning the projects of China Light and Power Company Ltd (including later expansion), Rumania POS Telecom and Hong Kong Wharf New T&T Limited, which laid a strong foundation for ZTE’ s further growth in C.I.S (Community of Independent States).
