Over the past years, with the economic development, the telecom market in Egypt began to unveil its ample development potentials. The traditional equipment and technologies have failed in meeting the market requirements of rapid growth, so in particular, the mountainous and remote areas will turn to the radio technology to quickly realize the network construction, coverage and the provision of all services. In line with the requirements of Telecom Egypt’s CDMA WLL network construction, ZTE carried out overall planning of network construction, and developed the customized solutions for Telecom Egypt. By virtue of its rich experience in network construction worldwide, unique tailored solutions, outstanding equipment performance and excellent services, ZTE won the high recognition from Telecom Egypt and topped the list in terms of its overall strengths; finally, ZTE beat numerous renowned rivals at home and abroad in the bidding competition and won the project.

ZTE will deliver its full package of industry-leading 3G platform-based CDMA WLL equipment to Telecom Egypt. Besides existing voice services, ZTE will provide Telecom Egypt with high-speed data services and other CDMA wireless value-added services, thus fully ensuring Telecom Egypt’s service development and market exploration.
