Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has been named as one of the first vendors to be awarded China's TD-SCDMA network entry certificate, as issued by the country's Ministry of Information Industry (MII).
The TD-SCDMA equipment covered by the certificate falls into four categories: core network equipment, radio network controller equipment, base station equipment and application platform equipment.
Before obtaining the network entry certificate, companies must undergo a series of stringent tests organised by the MII. The ZTE TD-SCDMA equipment was tested in China's trial TD-SCDMA stations in Xiamen, Shanghai and Qingdao, and achieved excellent results.
ZTE has the industry's most complete TD-SCDMA product portfolio ranging from wireless, core and carrier network equipment to application platforms and terminals, meaning that ZTE can provide end-to-end network solutions to customers.
