Boston, MA, U.S. - ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today hosted an analyst conference with more than 20 analysts attending from leading IT and telecommunications analyst firms. Today's event marked the first U.S-based analyst conference and the second analyst conference by ZTE outside of China.
Leading telecommunications analysts from firms including Current Analysis, Dell Oro, Forrester, Gartner, IDC, Ovum, Pyramid Research, TBR and Yankee Group joined top ZTE executives for a day of keynotes, product overviews and breakout sessions on WiMAX, handsets, IMS, GPON, and others. The one-day conference was designed to provide analysts with insights on ZTE USA and the future direction of telecommunications technology and global markets exploration, especially in terms of impacting the North America market. Additionally, ZTE USA highlighted its 2006 achievements and open discussion on development of its key products.

In 2006, ZTE recorded revenue of approximately RMB 230.32 million, with 44% being attributed from business obtained beyond the Chinese market. Additionally, ZTE has continued to expand its presence in North America through strategic partnerships with important mobile market players, including ClearTalk, Copper Valley, Oceanic Digital Communications (ODJ), and most recently, Sprint.
